SINEUP™ allows up to 10-fold increases in expression levels of target proteins by increasing the efficiency of translation. Transcription of the target gene is unaltered. As with RNAi, which can be used to knockdown (down-regulate) protein levels, SINEUP™ technology does not rely on the direct manipulation of the target gene.

1. Design of three SINEUP™ binding domains for each target gene

2. Generation of SINEUP™ construct in pSINEUP mammalian expression vector

3. Positive control GFP construct will be provided

4. Negative control will be provided

5. Service duration is typically 6 weeks


Please note that glycerol stocks for each of the constructs generated as part of the service will be stored in a freezer for a period of 6 months subsequent to service completion after which these will be discarded.
