PeptiGels® are ready-to-use fully synthetic self-assembling peptide hydrogels that are biologically relevant and formulated to meet your cells’ needs. PeptiGels® are used for 2D and 3D cell culture and are specifically designed with a range of mechanical properties and chemical functionalities to mimic the native cellular micro-environment to allow the growth of any cell type.
Product Description
PeptiGel® Alpha 2 PLUS™ is a ready-to-use fully synthetic positively charged peptide hydrogel functionalized with fibronectin (RGD) and collagen (GFOGER) motifs, mimicking the extracellular matrix more closely and encouraging better cellular adhesion.
PeptiGel® Alpha 2 PLUS™ is suitable for the culture of neuronal cells and other related cell types, whilst exhibiting enhanced optical clarity making it suitable for several imaging applications.
PeptiGel® Alpha 2 PLUS™ is a stiffer hydrogel when compared to Alpha 4 but has consistent mechanical stiffness (G’) and pore size, resulting in excellent reproducible results. PeptiGel® Alpha 2 PLUS™ can be used for both in-vitro and in-vivo applications with physiologically and clinically relevant results.
Trial Size and Value Starter Pack
When beginning to work with PeptiGels®, we recommend purchasing our 1 ml trial pack sizes for new users. This allows you to evaluate the benefits of PeptiGel and PeptiInk hydrogels in your culture system at a very low cost. New users can purchase up to five 1 ml pack sizes.
We also offer a Value Starter Pack. This includes PeptiGel® to test with your cells to enable you to identify the most suitable matrix environment. The Pack also includes a Gilson positive displacement pipette (various sizes are available), a box of sterile tips and a pack of Greiner Thincerts. Contact us for additional information.
