- Purified EVs - we recommend providing at least 109

Service Components
For important EV samples, freeze drying provides a way of stabilizing samples over extended periods of time. Freeze drying may also be useful in product formulation. We have years of experience in freeze drying Evs and can help you achieve your research and production goals.
Freeze drying is a process whereby volatile molecules such as water or other solvents are removed from non-volatile material using a vacuum.
Samples are kept frozen during the process so the water molecules are primarily removed by sublimation (solid-to-gas transition) rather than evaporation (liquid-to-gas transition). Freeze drying retains the structure of the non-volatile material which can better retain bioactivity. For example, exosomes that have been subjected to freeze-drying retain therapeutic bioactivity.
