Recombinant Human IP-10 / CXCL10
Induced chemotaxis of primary human T cells assay for Human IP-10. Cells that migrated were counted using a luminescent substrate. Migration over basal levels was reported in response to Human IP-10 starting at 5 ng/ml.
Non-reducing (-) and reducing (+) conditions in a 4 - 20% Tris-Glycine gel stained with Coomassie Blue. 1 μg of protein was loaded in each lane. Human IP-10 has a predicted Mw of 8.6 kDa.

Interferon γ-induced protein 10 (IP-10), also known as CXCL10, is a chemokine secreted by monocytes, endothelial cells and fibroblasts in response to interferon γ (IFN-γ). IP-10 functions as a chemoattractant for activated T cells, monocytes, dendritic, and Natural Killer (NK) cells that express the G protein-coupled receptor CXCR3. IP-10 is an important factor in autoimmune diseases such as Hashimoto's thyroiditis, Graves' disease, and Type 1 diabetes mellitus.Activity Assay
Human IP-10 is fully biologically active when compared to standard. The activity is determined by the ability to induce chemotaxis of human primary T cells.AA Sequence
