DescriptionMacrophage Inflammatory Protein 2 (MIP-2), also known as CXCL2, is a small cytokine that is secreted by monocytes and neutrophils at sites of inflammation. MIP-2 functions through the chemokine receptor CXCR2 to act as a chemotactic agent for leukocytes and hematopoietic cells.
