DescriptionResistin is a peptide hormone belonging to a class of cysteine-rich secreted proteins, termed the resistin-like molecules (RELM) family. Mouse resistin is produced by adipocytes and may be an important link between obesity and insulin resistance.
Activity AssayMouse Resistin is fully biologically active when compared to standard. The activity is determined by the ability to produce IL-8 by human PBMC cells.
